Sushi and good diet

Does anyone know where sushi fits into a good diet for training.

The raw fish, veg and seaweed seem to be good but I'm not so sure about the white rice.

    Opinions anyone?

Not training for weights, the portions are ridiculously small, you'd want to be eating it round the clock.

I mean as part of a balanced diet. Should I be thinking of it like a special treat or is it fundamentally sound?

My wife makes it from time to time, in large quantities, but I'm never sure if I should be eating something else with it if I'm eating it before or after weights.

Fish is all good, like you said the rice is a killer - especially that sticky rice that is used in sushi.
I'm a big fan of sashimi, but like Degsy said, you need buckets of it to satisfy - and it's ain't cheap!
