    Hey all!

I'm on the pill, but about 3 and a half months ago I had sex and forgot to take the pill that night( I'm not great to take it anyway). We did use a condom though. After this, I was feeling naucious and sick, so I performed three pregnancy tests, all came up negative(one clearblue test). I got all my periods while on the pill but I was still feeling sick so I went to the doctor who performed another urine test which came up negative. This settled my mind for a while, but I started to feel sick again. I started getting back ache so I did two more tests which came up negative. I was still really paranoid and felt like I could feel something moving in my stomach so I did another one which came up negative. I was still so paranoid last week so I did another one. I'm just so so sick of being convinced I'm pregnant when eight pregnancy tests have told me I'm not. I just can't get it into my head that I'm definitely not... It's ruining my life like. Help!!

Em really u need to cool down. this sounds like a deeper rooted problem, perhaps an anxiety disorder, Id talk to your doctor about that problem rather than any pregnancy issue as from reading your post its pretty obvious that you're not pregnant.

EDIT: BTW Im not bein funny here when I say that, I used to suffer from panic attacks and an anxiety disorder and my focus of constant concern was my heart, no matter how many times I got it checked and was told it ok I still worried. Just clarifying that.

    Hey all!

Even if you had a low HCG level at the beginning of a pregnancy, it would have been showing by now.

You've said repeatedly that you feel sick, but did an actual period come?!

If not, worry sends them askew. This looks like a vicious circle, you are worrying them away. I'd voice your concerns to the doctor tbh. If you normally have regular periods and they've been a no show, I'd ask about it.

But you are going to have to calm down, its definitely not helping you..

8 pregnancy tests cannot be wrong. And your doc has also confirmed that you're not pregnant. And you've also had your period.

    I seriously doubt you're pregnant.

I hate saying this on here.. given the OP's fear.. but your a little bit wrong on both accounts.

If HCG is low, it mightnt show up. But it usually would be by now afaik. There are pregnancy tests that can pick it up nearly a week BEFORE your missed period too. Which has come in handy..

And on the period issue, its rare but some women do continue to have peroids throughout their pregnancy, or part-there-of.

^^ All that said - I dont believe this is the OP's case. If shes this panicky online about it, imagine how she sounds to the man of the moment! Hes probably crápping it..

  • I'd say it's HIGHLY unlikely if not impossible, but you should really make sure to take the Pill every day at the same time to avoid this kind of situation. Even missing one pill makes pregnancy much more likely as I'm sure you know. If you're not great with it you should use condoms as back up, otherwise you'll have this paranoia every time you forget!
