SATC Meetup this Friday 6th June

Mods Im posting this seperately to the LL meetups so that I can flag the details to people and get an idea of numbers. I hope thats ok:).

Ladies

The Venue is: Cineworld, Parnell Sq, Dublin.

Time: Depending on what suits the majority. Let me know what suits you please: 18:30 or 20:30 or 21:10
Bear in mind that it might be an idea to meet at the cinema at least 40 mins beforehand so that we can get tickets (we could always grab food or drinks while we wait for the movie).

Afterwards we could all head out for some cocktails (in keeping with the theme of the night:D:D). Depending on the numbers I might reserve some space in a nearby bar that does cocktails.

Personally either of the later two would be better for me - especially depending on whether we're getting food or not, but sure I'd hope to be able to arrange someway of making it if it's the 6.30 too:cool:

Two nearby bars (that do cocktails) that I know of are Grand Central on O'Connell Street and Panama between O'Connell Bridge & Bachelor's Walk - just some suggestions anyway!

Completely off topic, the thread is about sorting out a night to see the film, tbh I don't think anyone cares about the reviews from other people.

Looks like 8.30pm suits most of you, so we'll go with that. Food before and cocktails after sounds good.

How about we meet outside the cinema at 7.15pm, grab tickets then go for food?

Ok change of plans. the 8.30pm and all earlier shows are already sold out:eek::eek:!!

Cathooo, Maple, LilyM, Ginnyjo and myself just booked tickets there for the 9.10pm show. I wasnt able to allocate seats so I presume its free seating, but dont know for sure.

If anyone else is interested in going, you might want to book your ticket quick before that show sells out too and then you can meet us there. If you like PM me so we can meet beforehand, so you can come for a bite to eat with us (dont worry it'll be cheap and cheerful, prob pub grub in the Aussie place next door)

Ahhhhh I tried to avoid this thread all day. I so wanted to go to this But have to venture home to Cork, the Mammy is in hospital (nothing major but I better be a good daugther and go visit her)....it was a severe case of Mammy versus SATC though, tough choice Bah humbug. I always miss you guys Oh well, next time. Hope you all have a GREAT night!

There is an American steak house up here that is running sex and the city theme nights go in for a meal and get a free cock tail and tickets to see the film.

I'm just back from the cinema. I really really enjoyed it, don't listen to the negative reviews, although I really miss my girl friends now!

My bf also really enjoyed it but I'm not allowed to tell any of his friends!
