    :D

If you must bring food, bring as little as possible. It's only 2/3 hours. Eat well beforehand. Focus on the exam, not the novelty of being allowed bring food in.

yeah you can bring in food, I remember someone saying something about not being able to bring in sweets with individual wrappers or really noisy things like crisps. Although it'd probably just distract you if you were eatign all through the exam.
I remember in one of my exams the girl inf ront of me had a tuna sandwich with her and it was sitting there through the exam in the sun and the smell was horrible... and she never even ate the thing!

My art teacher was saying how a couple of years ago someone brought in a salmon for the still life, in a small unventilated windowless room during mid-May!!

    *Shudders*

A lot of people talking about wine gums (one here and loads on last year's thread). Any particular reason?

Wine gums sound good. A bottle of coca-cola or some other suggery drink might provide an enery boost at the end of the exam. Don't drink it at the start though or you'll have an energy crash before its over.

I might bring in a bit of food and drink to Irish paper 1, just to keep myself occupied.

I'm determined not to leave any exam early.

Ah no, I'd just bring in a bottle of lucozade and a galaxy bar, mmm

Maybe you could bring in fortune cookies, except the piece of paper in the middle has English quotes and maths formula on it. Could work.
