    50k271.jpg

the bill ipoker hand from 2+2

A BIG BIG BIG popup comes up with the announcement that the winner of this hand receives 50K and rest all receive 5k for just being dealt in so whaddayathink: UTG ofc pushes which is the only viable option imo, then this: UTG+1 FOLDS, CO FOLDS, Button CALLS, SB FOLDS, BB Calls. Button wins 50k with a pair, BUT utg+1 wouldof won 50k by calling the ai with a5 and making 2 pur. SO SICK!

    Kaffe13 is 14/9 over 5K hands
    Mitja88 is 9/9 over 50 or so

taking nitism to the extreme here 20/30 bucks to win 50,000, folding is mind boggling

How the hell can you fold, you'd be willing to gamble your tank in a 5/10 game for a shot at 50k never mind 20 bucks.

I can only imagine how stupid they feel.

Implied odd of over 2080/1. LOL. Thats fkn brilliant.

Wow indeed, perma-tilt for them, the only explanation is they are either braindead or bots.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 595 ✭✭✭Tight Ted

That's amazing. Obviously they never noticed the pop-up, or just ignored it, thinking it was just spamming about some tournament or event, or whatever.

well, they are playing 20nl for a reason.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,443 ✭✭✭califano

Not that lol. Players who folded probably just thought it was alluser spam about something on some other table.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,513 ✭✭✭RoadSweeper

Probably didn't want to mess up their PT stats.

Surely even a complete idiot would jam it in there, with a big announcement surely its a foolproof no brainer

    although....

there must be some sort of notification to tell them surely?...with 50k at risk you would imagine ipoker would give the players time to unclick and push ai...

Normally I'd laugh at this, but in fairness there with some of the comments made by others regarding the nitiness of some of these players and with the stupidy of folding, well it just sounds like a reasonable explanation.

Where did you find that HH?

It's on 2p2...looks like someone working for an ipoker skin is being bold.

Farking morons the lot of them. I was explaining this to herself yesterday that when a payday hand such as this gets announced you don't even bother looking at your cards and you shove it all in. You can't lose any money (unless somehow the billionth hand is on the 200/400 table) and, as has been highlighted, the implied odds are astronomical.

If I were iPoker, I would do a Jay and Silent Bob MoviePoopShoot job and hunt them down one by one and administer beatings from on high.

You need to add in, and a guaranteed share of 30k evenly split between you and the others that don't win the hand.

The raise and the allin were both playing on NoIQ, so that's probably not their normal stakes. Slumming it for just that chance.
