It was very well organised, thanks to all.

Great event as usual and stunning weather - had a nice massage after free to all willing to wait.

Finished in 44.12mins but 42.21mins at actual 10km mark as course was little long.

Looking forward to the adidas race series this year over coming months.

didnt do the run but have often wondered about the various courses accuracy , would it be a regular occurence that a 10k could be 10.5 or 9.5 etc. sorry as this completely off topic , just wondering

I live next to Blackhall Place and went down to see the start, was a huge crowd and seemed like it was loads of fun. Damn music kept going till 7pm which impacted my study a bit, but oh well :)

I think most courses are reasonably accurately measured, I know that the organisers of this race made a point in their information that the course was 10.3km long (there was no way they could have shortened it and kept it starting and finishing at the Law Library) and that anyone who wanted a 10km time should take it at the marker at that distance.

Did it in 55 minutes and was delighted with that as I had only run outside three times before the race so was just hoping to get in under an hour. What a beautiful day for it and it's such a nice course too. The bbq and beers in the sun after were really nice too - a great day out..

I managed to get to the 10km mark in just under 45 mins!
A bit slow for me - am blaming, the heat, the breeze, the colour of my runners!!!!:D

Does anybody else think it would be a good idea to start the run at Arbour Hill church, where they had the 10km mark? That way, its an accurate 10km, with the start on a good wide road to accomodate the growing crowds.

Agh Arbour Hill, haha. The only time I ever ran up there was when I was being chased one night by a bunch of scumbags! One of my enduring memories of the summer of 02 in the capital :pac:
