    Nice!

That matt finish looks lovely...if there's one thing I hate its a guitar neck covered in thick, sticky, plasticcy crap. That looks like a great player :)

Looks flawless Doc, sorry Duke :pac:
    Congrats

    AMAZING

I saw that guitar and was amazed by it. Beautiful finish and look over all! Must be a beaut to play!

Cheers guys. I know I'm biased with the oul Bacchus' but this yoke is very nice indeed. It arrived a few days ago, just been getting to know it. It's a big neck, definitely based on older Les Pauls, but the oiled neck feels sweet. It's not the lightest, but not a hernia giver either. It's just... really, really nice :)

That certainly does look nice. And extra points for the Big Lebowski reference. ;)

Lovely Doc Duke - its about time!!
How you getting on with the p90's? Are they made in-house too like their humbuckers or are they Duncans or suchlike?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,848 ✭✭✭✭Doctor J

I'm loving them Boycey. They're in house, got the right mix of meat and twang. They're clean and dirty at the same time. It's got it's own sound, it's own niche in the family and it makes me play differently to anything else I have.

Looks great. I'd change the knobs though. I agree with Voodoo, the matte finish is refreshing in this world of thick, shiny poly finishes.

I'm just surprised that the Guitar does not have Bacchus on it yet the discription says it is a Bacchus (well kinda!) That's all.

I'd buy it for the price quoted if I could have confirmation that it was a Bacchus. Really nice guitar.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,848 ✭✭✭✭Doctor J

They can't put a Bacchus logo on it because it's pretty much an anally exact Fender replica, including the headstock. These models used to have the standard Bacchus logo on them but I imagine some legal threats have taken place. To the best of my knowledge they are made in the same place by the same people as the rest of the Bacchus handmade line.
