I have to say, the one thing that annoys me about all my 'before' pirtures is that I didn't learn how to pose properly before taking them. All my recent pictures are totally different so it can be hard to compare!

Best way to pose is to focus on the robot stance...;)

You'd be better off asking in the photography forum, not that many competitive BBers or models about the place.

The first thing is lighting, make sure it doesn't wash out any detail. The only advice i can give is to practice posing in the mirror, ensuring you are hitting proper contractions and angles to make the most of what you got.

I just took them in the same spot each time, with the lights on etc, but that was just to see progress,

Threw the camera on top of the microwave, stood in the same place, same distance from camera and watched it from there,

Dont know if it is any help,

On the side tricep, your right shoulder needs to come back more to open up your chest more. Turn your body slighty more to the camera too.

With the front bicep, it looks like you're shrugging your shoulders. Don't do that, just leave them where they'd be normally if your arms were lifted out to your side. Pick your elbows up a bit higher too.

Front lat spread's the best out of the bunch posing wise, but to pull it off your need a ridiculously thick back. Your hands (where you're grabbing your sides like) seem like they're maybe a bit to far forwards.

How old are ya?? You look like you've certainy got a good base to work from. Now all ya gotta do is eat hard and train heavy and you'll be a beast in no time.
