This is a question, if you could try and get one faction back for a famous run one last time who would it be?

The only ones I can really remember from WWF/WWE are: DegenerationX, Nation of Domination, Ministry of Darkness (including the Brood and the Acolytes) and the Corporation (who obviously joined up to form the Corporate Ministry) and then the New World Order iirc.

Of those I reckon the Ministry would be an excellent one to bring back, especially with Undertaker's feud against Edge going on. Problem is Simmons is too old, Christian is in a rival company, Gangrel is a nobody and Bradshaw has his own thing going on. I think it would be interesting if 'Taker had somebody watching his back against Hawkins, Ryder, Chavo, etc.

If done properly, a classic 4 Horsemen vs Evolution feud to settle the two generations once and for all would be awesome. It's just too bad they didn't do that properly before Flair's retirement.

I always liked the Brood and their blood baths. Also the J.O.B. squad and the Minis

On a side note I think the 4 horsemen could maybe make a return with Flair as their manager as he handpicked 4 talented young heels. He does have 2 years left on his contract

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,602 ✭✭✭✭ShawnRaven

Oh please no, as much as i have developed respect for Flair in the last few years, Flair is also the reason i hated HHH matches between 2002-2005. Especially Elimination chamber matches were you were guaranteed Flair would throw in a sledgehammer!

Flair as a heel manager, f*ck no :(

i liked it when angle was in with edge and christian. some funny stuff there. cant remember if they had a proper faction name though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,602 ✭✭✭✭ShawnRaven

They didn't really have a name, they were just associated together. Kurt and the goofy Canadians. Although Angle and Christian do have their moments in TNA to this day :)

    Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Corporation

I'd love to see DiBiase come back to lead a heel stable.

Another stable I'd love to see would be Bobby The Brain Heenans, Heenan Family.

A good list of lots of stables from the past and present: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:World_Wrestling_Entertainment_teams_and_stables

I was gonna mention the Heenan family, but it was more a revolving door of folks ready for face turns that went nowhere, Andre, Hercules, Terry Taylor to name a few. Heenan was a great mic man, but his talent were nothing much to shout about except for the short period of time he had Rick Rude and Curt Hennig at the same time, but that didn't last long because Rude left because he was unhappy with his Summerslam payoff.

Ted DiBiase is some sort of priest or spiritual healer with his own religion/church....

Dunno how i missed this. Hacksaw wasnt in it though because he was in WCW at the time. You're thinking of the Job Squad, that had Foley and Snow in the same faction along with Bob Holly and then later Stevie Richards and the Blue Meanie. The Union in 99 before the RTC, which was Test, Ken Shamrock and think Foley was part of that too.

Foley was for definate, think there was one more aswell as i remember them being a 4man group that temporarily went up against the corporate ministry... at least i think so.

I had to admit it, god i hate to admit it, but Vince135792003 is right. Big Slow was the 4th member. It was also still at the time where he could grab the top rope and leap into the ring. Months after that and those days were long gone.

He could probably do it now though! :D

The Dudley family would have been a good laugh if thet were all in WWF during the attitude era.

I would love to see a new ministry of darkness although I think the undertaker is gonna be face until he retires at this stage. I honeslty think it could work as a heel group these days. Shame that WWE dont do many turns these days.

for me the original nWo would be great....but i think bring back the corporation, they were amazing and everyone loved to hate them! then when you had smaller factions (the union, dx, austin) going up against them it made amazing watching!

    How about the truth commission?

Was always a fan of the big heel factions such as the corporation and the heenen family.

The Truth Commission, who'd have thought that six years after that and Bling Bling Buchannan would have still been with the company as well?

Nah there was only one, I don't believe Renegade was part of it (at least not officially). It was Warrior and his lackey, The Disciple (Beefcake, who had turned on Hogan after being kidnapped and converted over to OWN by Warrior, and people say Russo's booking was bad?!) if i recall correctly.

The were referred to as team ECK (edge, christian, kurt) for a wee while. Usually by Edge though.

    As for favourite factions.

Acolytes were always pretty entertaining, likewise original DX.The WCW incarnation of the NWO was pretty good at the time too.

I think the Ministry would be the most realistic to reunite probally with a few different faces.

The Million Dollar Corporation was great aswell. And Ted Dibase & IRS have made a few apperances here & there in the last few months so ya never know.

I don't understand whats with all the love for the Million $ Corporation. Maybe it's childhood nostalgia, but here's what i remember of them.

They comprised of Nikolai Volkoff, IRS, Kama - the supreme voodoo pimpin' machine, Bam Bam Bigelow, Tatanka, 123 Kid and Sid. With the exception of Sid, by the time the kid and Tatanka had turned heel, they were glorified jobbers.

    - Bam Bam got beaten by a footballer
    - Tatanka became a Native American heel, who still wasn't over (even ten years after the fact!)
    - IRS wasn't over either, in fact he was so bad that when he went to WCW to become their version of The Million Dollar Man, the fans shat all over the gimmick
    - Nikolai Volkoff, nobody cared about him when he turned face in 1990, why would they care if he turned heel in 1994?

Sorry, but all that came to mind when i was watching in 94-95. These questions still haven't been answered to this day for me.

The people in the stable weren't too important.

What was important was that it was headed by DiBiase, who is the best heel of all time.

The fans really got into it when they thought Luger was going to sell out.

Kamas feud with Taker was good too.

Laurence Taylor aka LT with his friends from the NFL. That was one of the worst matches ever...at least Steve McMichaels got something out of it. He got into wrestling and WCW a few years later, remember Steve "Mongo" McMichaels :pac:

If your bringing back factions you need a few of them that way you can have a good inter-faction fued other wise its just a gang of ppl beating up one guy and that gets boring.
