How much are you looking for it?

Why are you getting rid of your truggies? I'd have bought your x1 crt 5 weeks ago.

Well I have to make a few cut backs so my revo or my t-maxx is going. One or the other:(
Later or next year im going to get another glider this time with a motor so I don't keep piling it onto the ground when I go to launch it.

    Well,
    Not exactly giving it up.
I still must concentrate on my sons race car and keep it at the top of the pack or he will lose interest ;)

I dont really have time for them all to be honest.
Wanna buy one of them ? or both :D

Whats going to happen to the FMCC?

FMCC Is onroad electric touring cars which is going to be around for a very long time yet as I will stay running that for as long as it takes or as long as I feel I can help the club to grow and progress. I cannot really see it branching out into the offroad section as was planned. Hence, I want to Concentrate on running my sons Setup which eats up a good chunk of MY spare cash :pac:

Let me know if you change your mind and let that starter box go on it's own.

    Cheers.

In what sense...they come with a force .32 engine now?

    Upgrades on chassis
    Spektrum 2.4Gh DX3 Radio gear
    GO.28 engine would be a lot more economical than the .32 in a 30 or 40 minute final { Less pit stops for re-fuelling }

I know this because my son had a Force.32 in his LSP and he seemd to be doing nothing only filling it :o

Is the Force a particularily thirsty .32?

Does it feel like much difference between the .32 and .28?

Force is the same engine as your one.

.28 maybe not as much grunt off the line but nothing worth talking about.

I know it's the same as mine. I'm just thinking (and probably getting ahead of myself) if it would be worth going down to .28 in the future. Would the better economy outweigh the minimal power and speed benefit?

How many hours should I expect the force to last?

Are you going to race it ?
    If so
Keep the .32 for bashing around
and get a .21 for racing.
    Way better fuel economy.

As for how long the .32 will last?
"How long is a pices of string "
I dont think Coolwings could even answer that one as it would be a result of how well it is tuned and used/abused.

    .21

I heard that a .28 would be required for racing. Is that not very small for a heavy truggy?

Would you be in a .21 class or could there be guys with .28's?

I know I know. I just thought you might have been able to say in or around 100 to 150 hours would be average for a nitro engine, that's all.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 44 lotus791

for racing a 21 out revs a 28 and runs longer on fuel tank by up to 4 mins . truggy class is open only rules are tank to be 150ml and monster type wheels . 21 seems to be the more popular choice which proves the point. as for how long an engine lasts depends as said above but for example my race engines last about 20hrs or 7 gallons of fuel my play time ones may last double that .

And that is purely because you know how to tune them and how to treat them ;)

I actually meant would the .21 not be small for racing....it looks like I meant the .28.

If you are going to get a .21 though won't you have to pay loads more for a high performance one?

    Not really
No point in having a wicked fast engine if you are not great at racing.

Sometimes a slower machine can lead to faster lap times if you are inexperienced in racing.;)

    Vectra is right.
Plus ... beginners usually can not get a high performance engine started due to sensitive tuning in those particular engines.
