Yo, ive been bodybuilding for the good part of a year and a half, and most of by workouts have been isolation exercises bar deadlifts and dumbell benchpresses.

Now ive recently began squating.barbell benching and deadlifting more consistently.. and because i dont have much time to spend in the gym ( usually about an hour) is it better for me to do these 3 compound lifts over isolation exercises... ie will i see better growth? or should i just mix it all up.

I hope you understand my question :P

I don't understand the title... Powerlifting does not equal squatting bench and deadlifting, just as curls do not equal bodybuilding. Nor does hitting a punch bag make you a runner etc etc

But yes, compound movements are generally better than isolation.
