It seems to have changed in only a few skins. Classic is one of them (probably white as well). If you still see the old smiley in those skins then try clearing your cache.

It's still the same for me, I'm using the red and black skin. What does clearing your cache mean?

Just changed to the classic skin for a bit to see what the big deal was, damn that's one mutant looking smiley! Still looks better than it did before though

Just changed to the classic skin for a bit to see what the big deal was, damn that's one mutant looking smiley! Still looks better than it did before though

Basically you have the old file saved on your computer. Your browser is using this instead of downloading the new one everytime. By clearing your cache you get rid of the old version stored on your computer and force it to download a new one.

To clear your cache in firefox hold ctrl + shift + delete at the same time.

No I just hate sh*tty smileys like the confused one...it doesn't even convey confusion, it conveys crapiness. Rolleyes served a purpose, even if some dickheads over used it and undermined it's effect.

The Cloud skin is nice alright and the wide grin smiley doesn't make me want to smack the poster in the face. I find the various icons for showing which threads have new posts, which ones are hot etc. to be confusing as hell though.

Also, way more noticeable in work...
