Check out the Mayo forum (in the west part). Nothing but people complaining about Castlebar and how it has no good night life but then again us mayo people love complaining!

couple of mainly student pubs, irish house, coxs(late bar) nd bosh ah only night club really is mantra..its de same as anywhere really it becomes boring after a while but its good craic
