These things are done to death I'd imagine but I'll post up all I can so you have a good idea of what I'm doing.

Diet-wise I'm trying to follow some stuff written by John Berardi. I intend on following this for the next month or two then I'll change it up a little. Pretty much every day it's like this -

Breakfast : Omlette with 3 full eggs, spinach, slice of cheese, pineapple and some green tea

Mid-morning : Spinach, chicken fillet, peppers, nuts, olive oil, cider vinegar

Lunch : Spinach, chicken fillet, carrots, nuts (different ones), sesame oil, cider vinegar

Afternoon : Spinach, chicken fillet, peppers, nuts, olive oil, cider vinegar, apple

During training : 30g ON Whey, 60g glucose, 500ml water

Post training : 30g ON Whey, 60g glucose, 500ml water

Dinner : Pasta, some veg, sesame oil, cider vinegar, chicken fillet

Bedtime snack : 30g whey, half a cup of natural yogurt, banana

Training-wise I'm only getting back into the swing of things after nearly a year without lifting any weights. Typically it's like this -

    5 min warm up
    5x5 bench press
    10,8,6 dumbbell rows
    Dips using two chairs
    Tabata bodyweight squats
    5 min warm down

I intend on introducing deadlifts in the next couple of weeks (no squats as I train from home).

Is there anything I should be doing/shouldn't be doing? I'm roughly 6ft, 12 stone for what it's worth.

    Thanks for reading.

I find bodyweight lunges more effective than bodyweight squats. By this I mean I get more DOMS from them.

    shoulder press? upright row?

why do 5 sets on your chest and only 3 on your back?
personally i try to keep it balanced as much as i can.

Elbows kill me when I do upright rows. Back hurts bad when doing shoulder presses (but that was when I did them sitting down).

Re: Lunges, I'll look into them. But as I said, deadlifts will be entering in to the workout soon.

    lower back?

could do lateral raises for your shoulders also.

    shrugs with the barbell also.

Would the deadlifts not improve the shoulders somewhat?
