10 Things I Hate about Airsoft

1. Long Intervals between Games. (we as players are all responsible and we can fix it)
2. My wife does not understand/see the point in the game
3. People not taking their hits
4. I want all the gear but can't afford it or else I'm not allowed
5. I hate all form of eye protection but I like my eyes so will keep wearing it
6. The rattle of high caps
7. The lack of ammo in a mid/low cap
8. The long drive to skirmish
9. Young players who can run faster than me.
10 Getting hit on the fingers

These are in no particular order I dislike them all equally.

By the way this thread is in no way to be taken serious I thought it would be a bit of fun to joke about what annoys us in a game that we love.Suppose I should have added a couple of smilies especially after the wife one.

Getting to dress up
Saying I need to dress up otherwise I'll be shot easier...
Shooting people, without hurting them, much.
Running faster than I could without being shot at.
Jumping into things
Being dragged out of things
Reloading, the odd time
Modding, oh the joy
Listing the mods I did to anyone that cant escape me (in a car for example)
The social aspect is absolutely brilliant

Can help with issue with wife. Bought mine a MP-5 Galaxy, suited her up, face & eye protection, hiking boots & A bucket load of pellets. Bring her out ( this is the hardest part ) to a skirmish site, watch her get the sh1t shot out of her & then look on as your gentle, caring, loving mrs turns into a demon. She'll make you so proud. Just be careful of backshot.
***Warning to not go skirmishing after an arguement, unless you have health insurance ***

You're right CQB, the long wait through between games is a nightmare. This isn't meant to be endorsement, but the lads at Drogheda have it down to a fine art, no messing about between games, a roar goes up and within 3 minutes the game has started. You snooze you loose.
And it is down to us, the players; keeping the games simple is also the key, that way everyone knows quickly whats going on and no big explainations required.

More things I hate include:
- Muddying my gear,
- Cleaning my gear (hate with a passion)
- Loosing magazines
- Pink AEGs
- The constant misunderstanding of the pallet rule
- Over-zealous Marshalls
- Pointless game scenarios

4. running around the forest at G-TAC twice, finding no-one, only to finally find enemies, attempt to charge them only for them to reach our base with the flag and win the game(i musta fired about 6 shots in an hour)
5.the fact that i dont have an SR-25
6.when im in a pistol game and my pistol repeatidly jams, despite being perfect before that when i didnt need it
7.running to the car at G-TAC in a blind rush only to find two enemies already camped at it
8.no decent stores in limerick to get aegs/gbbs
9.the 1 and a half hour drive to and from G-TAC(although its worth it in the end)
10.trying to think of things i DONT like about airsoft

5- universal 1 joule limit [im obsessed with range]
6- losing pistol mags out of my dump pouch
7- the fact that i dont have a scoped Sig550
8- When 1 of my beretta's chooses to vent its gas :rolleyes:
9-The constant fear that someday someone is going to "glock" me *shivers*
10- Having a shotgun stand-off with Mark/twitch as we have a good chat through the huge gaps in our respective pallets when hes only 15 feet away, :rolleyes: lol this happens often enough, no hits through pallets!

My Hates:

1)Always wanting more gear.

2)Wanting an Airsoft version of Real Steel and it not affordable or available.

3)When an Airsoft product is more expensive than a Real Steel Firearm.

4)The feeling you get when you open the box of a piece of airsoft equipment
and as good as it is there is always the tiniest tiniest bit of disappointment that
the quality or finish or something isnt a little bit better or somethings damaged
or missing.

5)The feeling you get when you have just bought something and
absolutely cannot afford to buy anything else and immediately the urge
to buy something else kicks in.

6)The Price of Magazines especially Gas magazines.

7)Dodgy valves in gas magazines or mags that leak or dont fill properly.

8)The Lack of affordable Legal Gas powered automatic blowback rifles.

9)Pot metal and cheap ass ABS.

10)Lack of a local skirmish site that can be got to by public transport.

4: My first AEG falling apart as I use it in its first skirmish.

6: Sniping only to find a bug has just crawled into my goggles.
7: Spending 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour going around the forest to flank only to have the only guys you come across being your team!

10: Falling on my ass two feet from the base whilst holding a manequin hostage.(Thats a new one).

The one on the bottom is an M4 S-System, the rifle with the ugliest fore-end ever concieved. The one on the top is a 416, engineering and technical perfection.

Yeah, but I think that guy likes everything TOO much. He NEVER says anything bad about any of the guns or weapons.
Anyways the 416 is cool, but I cant see how a person would hate an M4 but love a 416, not in airsoft anyways.

I agree with dex, hk can take any basic mechanism and turn it from a jamalite m4 or a paper weight l85 into a usefull tool of war.

And doing that on military budgets? Bloody good engineering.
