havent played it yet, but if its anything like hte other wii games they can be quite tiring the first few times you play it...

I dont think i would be swapping my current workout plan for a video game any time soon tho...

I honestly thought this was a joke when I saw it in a shop window. I figured that since you were more active with a wii than an xbox, you were burning more calories.

Then I saw the ads and thought - hang on, they're serious!

i would imagine a wii fit wil go underneath the stairs with the ab roller, total gym toning cables, thigh master, super grip flex strength 3000, etc.

Sister got this yesterday, decent bit of craic, not gonna get you "toned" any time soon. Plus, my fit age was higher than my lazy ass sister, and I'm younger than her! Shenanigans.

{EDIT} Oh, and one of the mini-games is a jogging one. Get this. You step off the board, stand infront of the TV with the wiimote in your hand or pocket and then....jog on the spot. I couldn't believe this. What a horrible idea! So I stood still in protest and just waved the wiimote up and down to simulate running and then my guy jogged so fast that he fell over, punishment for going too fast.

    Sidenote. GTA IV tonight/tomorrow! :p

The best video game for getting fit is Pong. Put the controllers a few feet apart and play against yourself. Each day move the controllers a few more feet apart. By the time you've got the controllers at full stretch, you'll be sprinting at full tilt to get to the other side. It's like the bleep test you had to do in PE :D

*obviously you need really long cables/wireless controllers

I can't wait for GTA IV! But it might keep me out of the gym for a big though :o

I hope he asked for a diet drink...

Now that GTA IV's out I'll have to go and get myself an xbox 360 or ps3. I resisted cos I didn't really have time, but I would literally buy one just to play GTA.
