About ten minutes ago, for absolutely no reason, the song off of the old Crunchy Nut cornflakes came into my head and just wouldn't go away.

They're tasty, tasty, very very tasty....They're very tasty.

Strange how this just popped back in there after so many years of having not even thought about it. I don't even like crunchy nut cornflakes. Another one that just wont go away is a song called "forever young" by Alphaville that my oldest brother used to play years ago. I hated the song, but even now after about 15 years, every now and then it just crops up again and stays in my humming mechanisms for about two days.

You ever have these type of odd little tunes that just appear now and then for no reason?

They've started re-running that ad. You probably heard it while not paying any attention to the tv.

    Misleading title btw :pac:

Hmm... Only ones I can think of are:

    Theme to Sharkey & George.

Brian Adams - Everything I Do (was released around the time my long-term memory kicked in)

Not sure if it counts, but the dialogue from Kit Kat ad (the one where the barber shaves the logo onto yer mans head). Saw it a few months ago and was able to mouth it all, word for word.

I always have the "Denver the Last Dinosaur" theme tune in my head, even though it's 15-20 years since I saw it last.

"The red car and the blue car had a race, all red wants to do is stuff his face"

The Christmas Penneys ad mentioned already, though I remember when it was on TV!

"Them bones them bones need, calcium!"

most of those tunes mantioned pop into my head at any given moment.
i think you all named them all.
the only other one i seem to end up whistling on a regular Basis is the Glenroe Theme tune. loser.
when people cop what you're singing before you do its very embarrassing.

There's an ice cream van going round Ballyfermot with it as its tune! Sounds a bit unusual for an ice cream van.

    A fragment of a song I don't even like -

'Baby if you give it to me
    I'll give it to you
    I know what you want
    You know I got it
Baby you can give it to me
    As long as you want
    you know you got it....'

It was a duet about 6 years ago Mariah Carey and Busta Rhymes I think, heard it on the radio yesterday and can't get rid of it.
