Well i'd have to say, and i know i'll get some abuse for this but, 50 cents Get Rich or Die Tryin. I have never bought an album before where i liked every single song on it and constantly played it from start to finish.

Back to you Ralph. Over and Out

I will ignore the above two posts and say Outkast's Aquamini. Or ATLiens. Or maybe The Infamous...

    NERD - In Search of.

First hip-hop album I ever bought, and barring one or two weak tracks, is superb the whole way through.

Close second is Kanye- Late Registration.

A few have already been mentioned but to add......

A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders

Has to be Aquemini! Ready to Die as a close second. Immortal Techniques Revolutionary Vol. 2 would have been up there also apart from a couple of dodgy tracks

My vote goes to 2pac's All Eyez On Me. Twas the first double album in rap and has a great mix of hardcore, party, slow jamz songs with excellent production from the likes of Dr Dre and Johnny J. I could probably recite the whole bloody thing off by heart by now. Sublime

This would of been one of the best if he had of stuck to a single disc, some of the tracks are terrible. Haven't listened to it for a while but if i remember right the album closes with a really really bad track called 'whats your phone no.' or something. Makavelli is a better than this imo

True, there is some filler in there. Tradin War stories and Heaven ain't hard 2 find immediately spring to mind! :)

Still think it beats The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory hands down though...

Tradin War Stories would be on any greatest album of all time! Great song :)

Come on... It's one of the worst on that album. Which is still good, because most of the tracks on that album are unreal! Maybe it's just me, but anything (besides the odd exception) featuring them Outlawz wrecks my ceann!

LOL! Have to say that and Picture me Rollin' are prob my 2 favourite tracks off that album, but as i said haven't listened to it in a long long time, thought there was too much r n b tracks on it. Have a much different taste in rap music now... think have hijacked this thread as a discussion on All eyes.....:D

Just saw your thread on 2pac just now, good thresd, will have to add to that

Deltron 3030, what an amazing album, it's timeless. I'd put Nas - illmatic, mos def- black on both sides, Ghostface - Fishscale and Azeem and Zephs album. The last one is worth checkin out, quality stuff.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2 The REAL Kirby

Illmatic is the only correct answer.

I have the Low End Theory. It's good alright but it (And ATQU in general) can get a bit monotonous after a while IMO.

I'd have to go for the Eminem show. I think it's a great album. Way better than his last one anyway which was pretty pants,
