Yeah where they sell it sometimes you can dip your finger in it and put it on your tongue. Then you'll know if they whey is pure or not.

Or you could read the tub like most people.

Yeah that sounds right Mickk ran a deal on O.N when he opened his website

fine then that plump chap in NUTRITION CONNECTION Capel st revamped his site, he must be going out of business

Here is a hint you don’t spend money revamping your website when your going out of business , he more than likely did it to show off the fact that he has had the shop front redone and is now offering franchises

    Ps
    He’s just big boned

He is a mouthy spa, i dont like him, and i think he is a bit of a Pigs ear too
Notice how he never works there now cause he is too fat to fit behind the till

he used to work in that other place on the quays too.
someone needs to open up and put that fat mess out of business

Nutrition connection will fold before end of 2008

The Pro x is about 80% whey, which is higher quality than most popular american brands which are about 70% (optimum, eas ect.) The Big Whey is slightly lower than the popular brands at about 68% but a 6lb tub for the same price as most american ones are for 5lb tubs it more than makes up for it.

Also Richard you might affectionately call wes a plump chap but calling anyone a fat **** should be kept off boards...

Are you going to give a reason why you don’t like him or are you just going to name call ??

He was working behind the till last time I was there, for some one that doesn’t like him you sound like you frequent his business

Yes id imagine you caould sample any tub and tell me the purity of the whey? maybe your some sort of half man half gas chromatography machine, either way you sound like a knowledgable chap!!!!

Thanks Mickk for giving me the %, as for asking about the samples some companies do that so you know what the flavour is like before is like before you get stuck into 5lbs of it. Im sure they do samples of some sort.

what are you talking about?i actually have an interest in protein and nutrition so what if im anal about it.

im not slagging but a positive response to a genuine question isnt unrealistic

I'm just asking because it's unusual to hear someone so concerned about whether protein is 70 or 80% pure (assuming a 35g serving size we're talking about the difference between 28 and 25g of protein). It's not exactly a huge amount, and the same difference could be created quite easily the SAME protein if you don't get the amount of powder in the scoop compacted enough (ie getting less powder).

And I never understood what the big deal with taste was. I'm the most picky eater ever, I don't think I've even genuinely liked the taste of a protein supplement, but when it comes down to it you're talking about perhaps 30 seconds of your day to drink it, so I make the sacrifice. If there was a good quality one that didn't taste as nice as one of lesser quality, I'd still drink it.

But that's just me I guess.

ya i agree, but i have had some products that mixed really badly and were really bad to take. And i think now with the resources of flavour houses they do make some really good flavours.

Regarding the protein % i do care as i pack on weight really easily and the lower the % means the higher the fat and lactose content.as a WPC80 should have 1% but when it is down graded by added lower proteins the fat increases rapidly.I guess im the picky one.

If thats what you think you should try holland & barret 60% whey, your stomach, bowels and anyone you live with will thank you for going back to Nutrition x...

It was a joke. You know the way police on TV can always tell if cocaine is pure (which it always is) by licking a small bit. He was makin' a funneh.
