Never raided on either of my 70s, started kara on saturday night with 6 guildies and 4 randomers.

we got as far as the oepra event, and we had romulo and juliet.

first time main tank was afk and got locked outside the room! we managed to down juliet but not in 10 seconds so when we were on romulo she respawned and we wiped.

second time main healer got dc as we started same ending as first attempt.

i was goin out on the sauce then so we called it a night.

never thought raiding (even a 10 man) would interest me but had great craic there and was really good to see kara.


no drops for me though, and there was 2 other hunters there anyways



cant wait to go back now!!

Maaad.... After killing BB on the second night of attempts on Sunday Inquisition (Alliance, Emeriss) decided to reverse the general trend once more and took down RoS on the first night, so 6/9 BT now

Gadaí is my paladin Blazher. In general btw I wouldn't pay attention to rumours about Inq - I've had people from Dedication asking me why X (different) officer has quit Inquisition on 3 separate occasions now (once asking me why I had quit while I still had the guild tag) when none of the people mentioned had quit, or intended to quit, Inq. No idea what the source of these are but like I said - the truth rarely is as dramatic as the rumours :rolleyes:

Joined a new guild there a few days ago after i had enough of our drunk GM refusing to use VC in 25man raids, and threatening to kick me from the guild because i gave her -100dkp for turning up drunk, in pvp gear with no pots/flasks/elixers, 20 mins late and then leaving. So /gquit was followed on all 3 toons in the guild. She's still begging to get me back too.

Joined Nirvana www.nirvanaguild.co.uk, one of the fastest progressing rading guilds on my realm who actually take it serious and dont allow kids to join. Went straight into TK last night trash was no problem at all. Went right to VR got him to 50% first try and 29% second try. Then had to go as people have work and stuff. Not sure how we didnt get VR down, orbs wern't a problem neither was dps as 4 rogues all push over 1000dps each me and 2 mages doing 800-900, at 29% we still had 3 mins left untill he did his thing. Oh well another night

Inquisition (A) having the good times on Emeriss still with both Mother and the Council down on the first full nights of tries (Mother only took two attempts being fair). So now 5/5 TK, 6/6 SSC, 5/5 MH and 8/9 BT - might even get our noses into SWP before the expansion at this rate

Maybe its jsut my server, but Maelstrom generally has pugs' that go to big endgame raids.

Yesterday for example, played a **** load of wow and completed
Onxyia
Molten Core
Karazhan
Tempest Keep
Gruuls lair
Matheridon
Zul aman

And we got half way through temple before we whiped and people left.

But i think that was a good days work, that got me around 20-30 badges or so, and got me some epix loot :P

Must get an official list from the guild, but im pretty sure we have done everything....we have 3 rogues with illidans sexy sword things. (bastards)

Raiding's gone mad since the patch. We're now doing full BT clears in just 1 night (About 5-6 hours). We also destroyed Felmyst and almost got the Twins down.

EDIT: Should probably mention that my guild is <The Gauntlet> on Nordrassil EU. We have quite a high Irish percentage in the guild.

Putting this thread to bed until after Wrath. Somehow it seems cheap to update it to include peoples recent conquests when every Outland boss is ~60% easier than pre-3.0.2.

Feel free to post your thoughts and opinions on this idea and I'll review it again in a few days, if the majority of people want it to keep going then I will; but as I said, it seems cheap to the accomplishments from pre-3.0.2

I'd agree. Almost everything is trivial now, however, we killed KJ last night and it was still an epic encounter, nerfs or not. Our best pre nerf attempt was 36%. It took us 90 minutes last night until we got him down.

One thing's for sure, while most guilds will now be able to steamroll all the way up to Felmyst and maybe M'uru, KJ is still a challenge, and a fun one at that.

I disagree I do not think he is a challenge now. We had one night on him before the nerf and got him to about 65%. Following the patch we killed him on what I think was the 3rd/4th go . I even thought he was gonna drop on the first one thought we had some fail on dragon shields and collapsing ah well.

I guess my point is/was that guilds currently running 7/9 in BT (etc) should not go in and expect to steamroll KJ in one night.

nah i agree anything post 3.02 shouldn't be counted. we were 2/6 pre patch but monday we cleared to muru and then last night we got muru down on second attempt and KJ to 40% within about 8 tries on him. A few wipes with people not know what to do with shields ie when to put them up when to run to them etc but i would think we will kill him this reset now that people know the main part of the fight.

Considering what i had heard about muru being a guild breaker pre patch i was a bit disappointed in how easy he was to kill but still happy I got to see the fight and the content.

Agreed, we were only just starting BT pre patch but now were upto illidan. I think they have made this a bit to easy to be honest. I hope the LK instances arn't this easy too.
