Hi guys, i'm ooking for advice on equipment to use in the apartment as I can't find the time to hit to gym in my area. Nearest gym in Dundrum is Total fitness but I don't like it.

Can you guys point in the direction to some good equipment to get me in shape physically.

I'm looking for weights etc and to start some plyometric routines for sharpness and explosive power.

Also I will need to start rhab in a month as I'm facing an operation on my lower right leg to clear up compartment syndrome.

I know there is an Argos in Dundrum but i'm not sure of their quality.

    Any feedback will be appreciated.

We got a treadmill, cross-trainer, bench and a set of weights there recently in VJs Home Fitness, I can't remember the prices but they were reasonable and the lads up there are all sound.

Only problem is though that they're on the wrong side of the city from you!!

Irishlifting are good. Recently I bought a few Olympic plates there, they threw in bigger ones when the smaller ones went out of stock for free. A lot of the weights in Argo's are crap. They don't fit any bar, I bought 10kg plates there only to discover they don't even fit on my bar (it's only a normal 10kg one, not even an olympic)....they only fit on my curl bar, which weighs about 2kg.
