Whats the target audience for one of these? http://www.yorkfitness.com/Multigyms-item-557/Bodygym.html

My 16 year old brother can get one cheap, he's getting into resistance training.

Would i be better off taking him to the gym with me or would he benefit from using one of these?

He'd be better off in a proper gym, but a lot of gyms won't let him lift weights on his own until he is 18. You'd need to check.

I've actually got one of those things, and I do use it, mostly when I'm injured and need to work round the injury. My children absolutely love it, and do all sorts of hair-raising things on it.

If he can get one cheap, it's useful as a beginner's tool. He'll outgrow it very quickly.
