I didn't even register for my own tournament lol.

Anyway, I played my first satellite ever and qualified quite comfortably for the 250k on iPoker.

Oh and it was the first time I ever open folded QQ and then found myself open folding AA on the bubble

    Strange experience!

Also decided to plonk myself into a sat for the 100k on Bodog. Only two seats available though and I have a tendancy to accidently fold the nuts on the Bodog software :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,051 ✭✭✭jimbling

was up to 95k. Just lost a 50k pot JJ Vs AQ, so back down to 70k.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,472 ✭✭✭AdMMM

That was short and sweet in the 250K. Out AQ vs AK for the second time tonight!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,051 ✭✭✭jimbling

played 2 hands in 34 since coming to the table. This retard calls my re-raise all in with KQ.... and sucks out of course.
ffs.....trying not to tilt. on 60k

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,535 ✭✭✭30something

    Table 8 in the mill.
Also still in the 100k donkament. Little under avg at first break.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,051 ✭✭✭jimbling

I can't win a race. lost three times Ax vs xx. down to 30k. wont be long now.

    edit: gone.

really feel hard done by in that tournament. Played really well. Had a big stack and I was ahead every single time the money went in. lost a ridiculous amount of races. 5 in a row when I went out.
    fcuking jinxed ;-)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,535 ✭✭✭30something

Out of the Donkament. KQspades < 22 on a J104 (2 spades flop). I shoveski and miss all my outs. Can't believe his call for 85% of his stack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,058 ✭✭✭davidgti

out of 5k bodog had AA V's AJ V's JJ of course J high flop

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,754 ✭✭✭ianmc38

Ugh. Just gone from Stars 109 in 65th. Guy raising a ton opens MP, I shove over with KQ. He makes a good call with A7s which holds. Was in the top 10 with 80 left. Blinds 800/1600 ante of 150, folded to me in the SB, I have J2s and 48k in chips. BB has 20k. I shove. Is that standard?

I don't think so as you are deep enough not to be risking 1/2 your stack for a big blind with trash!

assuming a full 9 on the table your picking up 3750 not one bigblind 2.225 bb or so

Well its 2400+(150x9)=3750 which is just under 10% of my stack and the BB will most likely only call with a range of 66+/A9+/KQ or similar. I'm still not sure whether its a correct shove or not. Obviously the fact i ran into AA is leaning me towards results based thinking....

well you still have 10.5/12.5 % equity against AA, I'd say its close and opponent dependant I'd call lighter then most here Kx 44+

Oooh, qualified forthe 100k on Bodog using my free tourney credits.

    [edit]
Actually no I didn't, the tournament started an hour and a half a go so I've qualified for next weeks one! Oh well, something to look forward to!
