Kayak/Canoe club Kildare / westmeath

    Hi, does anyone know of a canoe club that uses the lakes in west meath(Lough Lene, Lough Owel etc) that will take a begginer using a sit on top kayak. I am not into white water kayaking and eskimo rolls, I just want to paddle around the lakes with a few people for safety.

    If anyone knows of a club or is willing to go for a paddle, please let me know.

    Any help would be great.
