Waterford Bodog Online Event - $5,000 Prizepool

    Again you can only register if u have created a Screen name

    (Creating a screen name now will not count)

    Please Note that if u have not created a screen name by now as stated at the event you are not elligble for the Online event and creating a screen name now will be too late as the operators are only able to put the players in per screen name per account . As stated at the event

    Bodog are still in the process of adding credits but should all be done by the end of the day .

    Only players who played in Waterford and have created a screen name can play I will have full details on the event when Bodog have finalised all credits and the will.

    The event is $10 entry and Bodog have supplied that entry and put up $5000 this will leave your account with $15

    The tournamnent is not listed yet but will be by the end of the day

    $10 Entry
    Players from Waterford Live event only
    $5000 Guaranteed

    Tournamnent to be listed later and the rest of the details are to follow

    I don't think there's one tournament on Bodog where the guarantee is ever met!

    The online side of things are being handled by the Canadian arm of Bodog, so I have to wait until my contact gets into his office before I can get more info on this.

    nicnicnic, it seems Bodog are experiencing technical difficulties (Error 127), I'm in touch with them now trying to get this sorted.

    here is an update.

    You will only be able to enter the online tournament if you registered a screen name at the live event or you did so before the event (this was explained at least ten times at the event).

    If you have added a screen name since then you will have $25 of tournament credits but will not be able to enter the tournament.

    If you did register a screen name before that point and played in the live tournament then contact customer service and raise your issue. Please don't contact them if you did not meet these requirements as you will be stopping the customer service team helping genuine players, also they will not let you into the tournament as systems will indicate you did not meet the criteria. To contact customer service click the option on the site.

    There is massive overlay on guaranteed tournaments so take advantage of those and look out for more exclusive tournaments via WIT in the near future.

    it was thru email Pat.... poker@bodoglife.co.uk .... their replies are pretty quick in fairness.. they shud be able to give u ur password over email if you give them ur acc num & screen name, they'll email back for the answers to ur security question and then they shuld be able t give u the password, thats how I got my acc num off them the other night anyways :)

    I'm on the phone to support for the past 30 minutes trying to see what the story is about this and have passed on all of your screenames and I've been told they're going to send a follow up email to you all to try help you out.

    Unfortunately, the downside to running the online event so close to the live event is that should anything go wrong, there's very few people available to help out.

    It's 6pm Saturday over in Canada so my affiliate manager whom I'm dealing with wasn't available. I have left a message on his mobile and forwarded him on emails and expect to hear back from him sometime tomorrow before the tournament

    Could everyone who's having difficulty registering please try the following:

    If you're getting Error 127-
    -Log out of the Bodog client.
    -Log back in (USING YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER)
    -go to "Cashier" choose the currency you want to use on your account.
    -Log out
    -Restart your PC
    -Log in
    -Try register

    If you're getting Error 129-
    -Log out of the Bodog software
    -Open the Bodog software
    -Uncheck the box saying "Remember Me"
    -Close software
    -Login using your ACCOUNT NUMBER
    -Try register



    If you're still having problems, PM me your account number and screename (if you haven't already done so) and I'll investigate on behalf of you in the morning.

    Lol Bodog Created the Online event not us . They a multi Billion pound organisation and decided the event was on then Clonmel does not really come into there thinkin TBH

    Clonmel is decided by the players and the manager what date unfortunately this online event was only decided weds so nothing could be done

    Having spoken with several members of Bodog support, I can say that anyone experiencing Error 129, or anyone who has yet to get their $25 credited to their account will probably not be able to play.

    If you haven't received credit, email poker@bodoglife.co.uk and they will verify that you are entitled to it. If you get Error 129 (but have your credits), email me (adam.murphy@gmail.com), text me: 0863769958 or PM me your account number and screename.

    If you are experiencing error 127, you can rectify this by going into the cashier and choosing a currency to use for your account. Once you have done this, logout and restart your PC.

    MAKE SURE YOU LOGIN USING YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER

    Okay, unfortunately the timing of the tournament is what's led to these problems. The way it was organised, the tournament administrators in Canada manually provisioned players to be allowed into the tournament on Friday but they don't work through Saturday and Sunday so while the Poker Department at Bodog have been busy crediting accounts with $25, no new accounts were added to the "Allowed" list meaning anyone that was initially having difficulty hasn't been added.

    65 people registered for the tournament tonight so obviously a good few people were having problems (I received 15 screenames). Rest assured that we'll make this up to you in the near future. Best of luck to everyone that did get in.

    They have plenty of people to deal with technical issues, but honestly, how many people would you expect to know the specific registration requirements of a single private tournament?

    If it's not too much trouble, do you mind giving some feedback about the software (i.e tournament structures, ease of use etc).


    software is ok I've seen worse but nothing special, the theme colour of red is nauseating and will put any high volume player off. I think its something many sites overlook and go for impact colours but for someone multitabling for many hours the bright red will effect you. I found the fact that there was a $30,000 overlay in there 9 o clock $100 + 9 FO interesting
