Hi, just wondering does anyone know what the gym in loughlinstown is like?

Mostly want to do a bit of cardio and use some free weights.
My housemate has some weights but they are really big and awkward so I find them hard to use [I am fairly small].
The only gym nearby really is Jackie Skelly's [Greystones] and I've heard pretty bad reports about it so I'd prefer not to go there.

Where are you living? Around Bray?

I train there occasionally when my gym (Crunch UCD) is closed (nearly every bank holiday weekend!!) Loughlinstown is basic to say the least and some of the equiptment is failry shabby but for a decent weights workout its ok. They have about 8 treadmills, a few cross trainers and some old bikes.

Are you a guy or a girl? I ask that because the weights area is kinda more geared towards guys - big dumbells, bench, incline, squat rack...

My best advice is go up and try it out for yourself and see what you think, its only something like €5 per visit.
