Pre workout nutrition advice!

    Story,

    New to this forum (and boards for that matter) but need a little nutrition advice. Im currently going to the gym twice a week, and also do 10 mile hill walks at the weekends.

    While i would consider myself very fit, i just dont feel im eating adequately before i go working out (hence not achieving my max potential). What should i eat before i go to the gym, if not the day i go to the gym to get an adequate intake of energy, carbs etc.

    I'm also intending on running the marathon in October so i may as well start eating right now!

    Im 19 and 11 stone by the way.
