    Could any one help me with the following seanfhocal and it's translation, many thanks for any replies in advance ;)

    Cuir síoda ar ghabhar agus is gabhar igcónaí é.

    Its basically an odd irish version of "You can't make a sow's ear into a silk purse"
    Only somehow someone along the way decided an example of a goat would be beter...dont you just luv literal irish translations!?
