    Hi,

Im thinking of going to a "Body Pump" class in westwood. Just wondering has anyone here done any of these classes. If so, what are they like etc? How many does one need to do per week to see results?

    Cheers

I used to do Body Pump at Westwood in Leopardstown and Sandymount. I much preferred the classes in Sandymount.

The classes are very enjoyable. Even though you are only lifting light weights, it is very intense. It is more about getting the correct posture than weight. I used to do the classes three times a week and it helped with weight loss, but more importantly toning.

I wouldn't do more than three classes per week, because you need recovery time. Also, when you first do it, go easy with the weight and gradually build up over time.

Thanks for that info randomer. One more question, how long would it take to see proper results doing 2-3 classes per week?

How long is a piece of string.

Depends on your goals, current physical condition etc

Get going and you will notice your muscles feeling tighter and firmer from even the first session
