Was quite happy when I got this. Republic of Ireland Under-17's prior to their qualifier against Greece. They lost this game but won their qualifying group to make it to the European Championships proper.

Didn't take a lot of shots in March, but this is my fav. Momo giving his "feed me now" stare, though he was probably fed only half an hour previous...

Didn't take a lot (surprise surprise) but I sort of like this. I'll go back when the weather is a bit better though, my hands were numb after 20 mins of holding the camera and hence the shake! Oh and its the ESB chinmeys in Poolbeg for those interested. I though it was a pretty unique take on them

I did very well in March. The one below is one of my favourites from a recent trip to the botanics. It's more or less exactly how I wanted it to look although I may go for a square crop on it later.

I was really happy with this one

My landscapes are finally starting to improve - the blue sky came out just right (with the help of a pol filter) and it wasnt a bad way to spend paddys day...

Took a trip down to Hook Head in Co. Wexford and took this shot just before sunset.

Peadar, that border simply ruins a very fine shot. It even appears to encroach on the shot in places.

    V.Nice shot though.

took a few semi-good ones in march - helped by being in california. if I had to choose one, this would be it - taken on the ugly side of the bay bridge in san francisco.

*edit* I like this not due to any technical brilliance, great processing or anything - I like the way you see the bridge four times in the one shot. Simply an interesting subject.

btw - some superb shots here. These threads are great

Some outstanding shots in these threads month after month.

I got out with the camera a fair bit during March with the weather picking up but my favourite is probably this one I took last week halfway up Carrauntoohil.

Too many great images here, to comment on them all.
One thing I will say though, there's some serious talent pool on the Photography forum!
We really must consider a book collaboration, or something!

What people said about the talent in this pool!

I know collaborative efforts have been mentioned a few times before, but I dunno if anyone's looked at BookSmart software available from Blurb which allows you invite contributors. Could work here quite easily as a collaborative exercise.

This is my favourite from a trip to Ethiopia this March. Amazing place, gorgeous people, very photogenic ...

I got a 17-70mm Sigma macro lens for my recently purchased second hand D200 this month, and have been spending a lot of time fiddling around with macro shooting for the first time. This is my best so far...
