The time has come...

As some of you may have noticed, I haven't been skirmishing very often over the last few months. I've kinda lost interest in airsoft and I just don't have the enthusiasm to head up to HRTA/Drogheda on saturdays. And other financial commitments at the moment make it hard to afford the costs.

So....I'll be giving up airsoft. Perhaps some day it'll interest me again, but I'm guessing it won't be for a long time. This has nothing to do with the people that play, it's just that airsoft is not as exciting to me anymore.

I've decided to auction off my 2 AEG's & 2 pistols. The proceeds will go to Temple Street Childrens Hospital. Minimum bid of 50 euro for the AEG's and 30 euro for the pistols. I'll do the same for my camo gear, tact vest and face mask as well if anyone is interested. I'll start a thread shortly for the auction, with some pics/specs etc.

I'll hang around on the forum though...at least on till you lot are sick of me

Well, if you're not kidding, let me just say you'll be missed.

My first time skirmishing, you were very helpful and chatty and I learned a lot that day.

On the other hand, if you are kidding, I'm going to make it my business to actually get to the next skirmish you attend and pepper you with BBs in revenge.

WE M1911 + 1 standard mag + gas/speedloader.

I was waiting until I get home to create the auction thread so that I can include pics, and maybe a small video clip.

hmmmm... Crazy: if indeed you are serious, may i suggest setting up an ebay auction? boards.ie's rules expressly forbid auctions of any kind, and for good reason too, it can get very messy very quickly, but posting a link to an ebay auction would be allowed under the circumstances since you are donating to charity.

I was the juggernaut on several occasions back in the old HRTA, and there was no ammo limits either. And it was CQB setting. Pain don't bother me.

Temple Street Hospital is €75 better off than they were this morning, not to mention the €200 worth of gear I donated to the HRTA Birthday shoot which benefited them as well.

And yes, I've posted some silly things in the past, but I've apologised where needed. At least I admit when I'm wrong. However, there are other posts that you may consider 'stupid', but I stand by them.

I'm not getting into an argument with you, even though that's what you seem to be looking for with your very aggressive post/flame. Let's leave it at that.
