I was feeling frivolous. I decided to buy something. It is certainly a representation of my decadence. It's awesome and it was nice and cheap, for what it is. And I'm not going to say anything until it arrives. 3-5 days apparently. There will be lots of pictures, I assure you.

    That completely gives it away.

    Deca = 10

You bought a guitar for 10 year olds didn't you? A Daisy Rock... :pac:

No, I actually bought the 14 year old model - an Ibanez.

    *pauses for laughter*

Did I just say that? I think I did...

    A 14 year old Ibanez?

That clears it up, we know exactly what guitar you're talking about now ;)

What I'm getting here is that you have bought a 14 year old japanese person. Surely that's illegal :p

It could have been an African guitar!
Of course then it would be a simple question of weight ratios, now wouldn't it.

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 23,363 Mod ✭✭✭✭feylya

It could have grabbed it by the strings...

Or perhaps he could play two guitars, if he tied them to his body somehow....

Jaysus, this better be something out of this world to be making a pre-announcement announcement thread. Customs are a mofo though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,635 CMod ✭✭✭✭Ravelleman

    No, I'm just incredibly vain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,172 ✭✭✭Don1

Telling you folks it's an Arogs beginers pack. They hadn't it the colour he wanted so it's being imported for him..........

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,635 CMod ✭✭✭✭Ravelleman

It was released by customs yesterday but unfortunately I couldn't make it to the depot in Sandyford today. Alas, I did get stung for import duty. I have no idea how they arrived at that particular figure though...

    Monday is the day gentlemen.

Actually I was outbid at the last second. Literally. I was furious then did a search on ebay and found another one with a buy it now and jumped on it... think it was only listed for about 30 minutes when I saw it!

There will be pictures when it arrives! Probably take a couple of weeks..
