Cool Iris?

I've downloaded Cool Iris as a Firefox browser add-on and I'm finding it works grand. I was just wondering if there were any security issues. Is "previewing" a site different to actually visiting a site? I don't know how this thing works but it's too cool for school...:) .

I haven't used cool iris but i've used piclens from the same crowd and I LOVE it! great for browsing flickr / google images etc etc

Edit/ just realsied my post was pointless and unhelpful!!! Sorry!
