Hi I have a Sony VGN N325E laptop running Vista Home Pre. I just moved into a new flat where we have a Wireless Router from NTL. I've Been trying to log on to it for weeks but to no avail. My Flatmates are able to use it with no problems and I can Access it on my PSP. Anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

Can the laptop even see the router, or work with any other router.

Yes It can see the network. It will come to the point where I put in the WEP and then a few seconds after that it will tell me that there is a problem and windows cannot connect. We have tried taking down all security but then I'm still unable to log on. when I try to diagnose the problem I am told there is a problem and windows cannot connect. i have been connected to various other networks on this laptop.

Try to set the pc's signal channel on network card same as the router's channel!
