    Hi

Does anyone have the full list of results for the seapoint jsc?? I believe there was only prizes for 1st,2nd and 3rd which is poor considering it was 50euro. I know it was 36holes and included food.

    Thanks.

AFAIK both rounds were non-counting AGC but if you give the pro shop a call tmw on 628-0246 they will confirm.

Sorry AGC, just checked there and the SS were as follows:

There were four SSs last Sunday. Both were counting for the JSC (74,73) but only the second round was counting for the SSC (75,73).

Cheers Madds, bit annoying they didn't do reduction only considering the conditions!!

Point of Info - The club can't decide to have reduction only. The CSS is based on the scores returned on the day. If the scores are poor enough to warrent it then the CSS would be calculated, by whatever system is in lace, as +3 and reduction only.
Broadly speaking the CSS is calculated on the % of players returning a score within 2 of the SSS of the course (printed on the card)

Understand that but where the system got 74, 73 for the junior I dont know. Scoring was massive.

Also why is it reduction only for the second round SSC and the standard scratch is 73:confused:

Im fairly sure that the SSS off the back tees was 75 for seapoint and the scoring was extremely high and there were loads of NR's.
Im pretty shocked it wasnt reductions only:eek:

CSS was 77 home and 78 away for both rounds

I thought madds meant the 1st round was "non-counting" (reduction only) with CSS 75 which make more sense. . . .
If you knew how many entered each round and how many scored within 2 of SSS or better, I can check calculation for you.
    PM me if you want:rolleyes:

the second last hole(par 5 into the wind)was playing the hardest on the day as my big fat 8 proved

senior scratch is on that day as well, 36 holes, both courses and includes lunch for €90. thats quite good value considering what they have charged for green fees there before.
