was itm in that as well. Big stack, got absolutely rapped.

Was in the warm-up. Was up to 24k in the first level. But it all went downhill from there. Lost all in AK Vs KK on an A high Flop. Walked QQ into KK. This all culminated with me making the most ridiculous call of my life with A8.
Then my last 5k went in when with 6s3s. caught a great flop: 4d5dKs Great turn: Js But no 2/7/spade to keep me in the game.

Had a huge stack in the 20k gtd freezout as well. Just lost a few huge races so down to 10k in that.
Was going to play the million and the ipoker 200k as well, but I'm feeling a bit tilty.... so might not bother... go for a pint instead. (Although the thought of drink now makes my stomach turn... christ, what a night last night).
best of luck to all tonight.

in my biggest tournie ever - the 200k on ipoker for the first time.

think i've got irrationally excited about it. have told my boss, colleagues, family ...

this presumably predetermines that i'll go out early.

2000 starting chips seems like a really bad starting stack.

2000 starting chips seems like a really bad starting stack.

Standard is 1500 chips so 2000 with 15 min blinds is ok.

Im in the 200k on Ipoker too and also the Irish Masters GF.

gone from warm up after a complete brain fart , shorty goes all in , button reraises all in , i called in big blind with AK - absolutely no need for it & its something iv never really done before , dunno why , bummer.

Down to the last 48 in the $8rebuy , just lost a race in a 125K pot wit AJ vs 8 8 , iv 4 big blinds left

I'd call here a good % of the time. Buttons range is pretty big due to shorty. I definitely wouldn't see it as brain fart.

i think thats what i was trying to convince myself , ah well on another note after a few miracle river cards im flying in the $8 rebuy wit a 225K stack with 30 players left , blinds 5k/10K

I'll play the million that's about it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,053 ✭✭✭jimbling

    good luck hoki.
I'm about average stacked in the 20k gtd. After losing most of my chips dropping down as low as 5k, I have since then gone on a seriously sick run winning with A7 vs 77, A9 Vs AQ and 66 Vs AK (A on the flop, and I rivered a flush:D)
so, back up to around 60k with 87 in it.
Still haven't decided if I'm gonna play the million.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 441 ✭✭boba_fett3099

Playing the million for the first time. Finished 130th in the stars 20k ran QQ into AA. Also deep in $11 deep stack..

not doing too well in the 200k after the first hour 1.3k after loosing a race. The dream of winning a big one on my first attempt has retreated dramatically.

    and gone.

    classic exit:

i'm short stacked on the button playing 1.1k. Blinds 50-100. Only one person has limped, so i raise it up to 500 with 5-7o in an attempt to rob the blinds. Get called by the initial limper. Flop comes without hitting me. I think the only way to win is to push, so i click the "raise all-in" button intending to push when it comes around to me, but forget that if the limp-caller pushes then i would be automatically put all-in with air. This is exactly what happens. I'm a stupid, stupid man ...

I'm in the $109 $15K GTD on Stars with a decent stack and ITM. Also still in te $100+R but just donked off a load of chips to PearlJammer because a) I didn't see who I was re-raising and b) my notes on him are a little out of date.

Hey guys i dont suppose anyone could ship me $215 (a mill buy in on stars). Can pay back tomorrow, waiting on a transfer from a player and my Moneybookers account to be unfrozen.

Just gone from the warm up, best of luck to roundtower who was seated right beside for a long time in it.
In the mill and 10 rebuy on stars, that tourney is getting huge on a sunday, always over 100k prizepool.

best of luck to nicky as well, i might rail ya at some stage.

    Forget that PM so :)

Judging by the amount of sitouts in the 100,000 I'd say alot of people did. I missed 30 mins or so.

Damn, missed the hour change in Uncle Samsville.

Pre-Regd for the mill and the 100k at 5am while drunk in the 45k g'teed as a treat when I got ITM. When I clicked "Register" for the mill the screen (a nano second earlier) changed to the table and I called all my chips with 9 4 off and bust ffs.

    Forget that PM so :)

Judging by the amount of sitouts in the 100,000 I'd say alot of people did. I missed 30 mins or so.

Thanks for the offer anyway mate. Yeah bit weird, they adjusted the tourney startb times last week so it started at the normal time in europe. Not this week though, you'd think they would send an email or flag it somehow.

No worries. You would think at this stage they would have an option for setting the local time tbh ala bodog etc It is not like they are a tiny skin ffs.

In other new I am sitting in my kitchen playing poker all lonesome, and forgetting that I am buring Aliens vPred 2 (first time buring one on this new PC) for my wine drinking enjoyment later, I all of a sudden feel some thing touch my inner thigh and jump a mile and fall on my ass while having a mini heart attack.

/turns off auto cd burning eject thing.

It could have been a man eating rat!!
