    I joined a Gym a month ago & tried to fix diet. I've only lost 5lbs, but went down from 21.8%-17.8% body fat. Is this good? What difference could I expect in another month?

    Very good, however don't be too upset if things don't go so well next month. Particularly the bodyfat. Getting below 15% will be harder still, and take more time.

    what method did you use to check body fat both times? did you use the same scales when you measured a month ago and today/yday? what type of excercise were you doing, weights/cardio?

    I did both weights/cardio, I was 75.5kg, am 74.5kg, I don't understand kg so I'm not exactly sure what that means. Any help?

    kg=kilograms

    1kg = 2.2046lb
    6.35kg = 14lb = 1 stone

    How was your bodyfat % measured?

    The math
    75.5kg- 16.459kg of fat, 58.041kg of lean mass

    Now
    74.5kg- 13.261kg of fat, 61.239kg of lean mass

    7lb of fat loss if the measurements were correct, but it is hard to estimate BF% accurately, at least the gym is not making outrageous claims.
