    Hi,

My Fiance was in Chartbusters today getting her sunbed in for the wedding and she was offered a free trial on a Vibrating Plate. Does anyone know anything about them? WHat are the benefits? DO they actually work? Are they similar to the slendertone(useless)? Apparently a 10 minute work out is equivelant to an hour in the gym................. I think the way they work is they burn calories.

If anyone knows anything i would be very interested!

I use a variation of the vibrating plate that's called the Homo Sapien. Basically, it utilises physiology to move you around, and sometimes gravity to move heavy items around your body. So one day you'll use it's unique gravitational effect to "push" something heavy away from your body. Other days you'll use the unique physiological effects of Homo Sapien to stress your cardiovascular system to enble it to become more efficient.

Homo Sapien is quite simply the greatest fitness invention of all time. It has millions of uses, can move in almost unlimited ways and is easily stored on top of your bed at the end of the day.

In other words, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Some variation of the vibrating device has been around since the 1970s, and they all work to some extent but nothing replaces hard work. If I was offerred a free trial on a vibrating plate I'd bring two paint cans that needed mixing or something, get your money's worth.
