    Anyone know where to get light/flash stands in Ireland without having apoplexy at the price?

    I bought a lighting kit from www.mpex.com price was very reasonable I think, delivery was quick, got hit for customs, but it still worked out cheaper

    Placed an order with www.speedgraphic.co.uk on monday for background supports, infrared trigger etc... it's just arrived at work.
    Bought studio flash kit off them before xmas - same service.
    Can't recommend them highly enough - good prices.
    Would love to buy all this stuff here but...
    (if you want to buy 'Irish' - barker photo in cork, miniphoto in lucan etc)

    I just picked up a tonne of lighting eqipment off paddy barker for a great price and the lads were really helpfull
