    Most units will never refuse a volunteer. Simple thing to do is to email or ring their O/C and ask about joining up.

    there are a few unit in galway there is the furbo craughwell mervue and city units so make sure you join closest unit;)

    Civil Defence is very active in Galway and have quite a number of HSE paramedics and Advanced Paramedics in their membership. Look for Galwaycity Civil Defence or Oranmore Civil Defence on facebook.
