    When you register with the OU you gain access to the OU forums. You have your own uni email addy and access to the online resources etc etc.
    I'm not saying that an OU forum here isn't a bad idea. I'm in favour of anything that boosts the profile of the uni in a good way.

    All that said, when you register you'll be able to talk to other students with similar interests etc.
