Importance of Sleep

How bad is it to work out if you haven't gotten any sleep the night before?

I had to pull an all-nighter in work yesterday, but didn't find out until late afternoon. I had my gear with me, so I went to the gym for 2 hours, came back to the office, and here I am now. I'm feeling fine, and nothing beats venting the stress of work than some heavy lifting and a good run afterwards. But how bad is it for me? Should I just go home, go to bed and head to the gym in the morning?

Emergency! Get to the Hospital fast!

    Kidding.

Just don't overdo it and try getting back to your normal rhythm as soon as you can. Here's some interesting stuff about fitness sleep...
