measuring tape

dastardly tape has eluded me thus far, any recommendations where i can buy one cheap and efficiently in dublin? must have parking and be open past 5pm!

They sell them in Tommys in the Blanchardstown Centre, which is open late most days.

Hickeys fabric shops sell them as well, they have one in the Stephens Green Centre and a few other places in town afaik!

what sort of measuring tape. Have you tried Woodies or Homebase. If not try someone that sells curtains and fabrics (home focus) as they will generally have measuring tapes

Found one at home at the weekend that came out of a Xmas Cracker, so could try stocking up on them

just a flexible measuring tape for body measurements!

loads here for €3 delivered. I expect the "2 euro shops" would have them, but is your time and effort traveling to get one worth the extra saving.

If you already have a metal type one you can just get some non-stretchy string/twine and wrap it and mark the positions, then measure on the tape.
