I have a voucher for Free SKY PLUS BOX for me and a friend. I have vouchers from Sky that will give you a free Sky+ box and me a voucher for 75 euro. If you are unsure about Sky+ for example 20 euro/month gives you 1 mix.(22 for 2 mixes).The Irish channels come with what ever mix you choose. The Sky + recording facility is now free.(Used to cost 15euro/month extra).

there sending it to select customers only at the moment or so i was told today. I asked why only some customers where getting them and was told well everyone is getting them eventually its going alphabetically. But you dont need it anyway just get your friend to ring and say your waiting for the code they will setup the account anyway seeing as you know about it, basically the code is meaningless.

Afraid so, you need to recruit a new customer and then you'll both get a free Sky+ box.

I still have one code remaining. I gave a code to someone who contacted me here and it worked for him. Free sky+ box and free install. You might even be able to get the first 3 months half price if you ask nicely.

Guys can I clarify ? Is the only way an existing customer can get a free Sky+ box is by pretending you are new e.g. signing up in wifes name ?

Hi Shapes,

Curious as to what the deal is with this offer, sounds too good to be tru etc. Happy to oblige you with 75 yoyo voucher if we can get ball rolln asap. Plan contacting sky as new customer tomorrow, was going to take advantage of 'intoduce friend offer' but benefits are free standard box and first month entertainment half price, friend receiving same 75 voucher. Your offer sounds more appealing, why is there no mention on sky literiture online and whats the next step.

The offer has been taken already (10 mins from me posting). This was only sent out to some existing customers only. Each person got two vouchers.

Certainly will, On the T&C's it recommends that user must be connected to fixed telephone line for 12 mths otherwise may invalidate the offer. I prefer to as discussed in other threads to attempt to install without phoneline a forfeit the 37 euro one off fee.
In your opinion do you think this is possible and does it have the potential to effect friend being paid 75 euro voucher. Cheers

I'm really p****d off with Sky. I really would have liked to upgrade to a sky+ box but it seems they sent everyone in Ireland one of those vouchers except me. I wouldn't mind but I've been with sky since they started up in Ireland. Seems they can't do enough for new customers. After weeks of waiting to see would I get a voucher in the post we rang up today to chance our arm and see if we could avail of the offer only to be told the offer ended yesterday. Now they've lost 2 customers cos I'm cancelling as soon as I get home! ............................................................Unless of course they keep me sweet with a free sky+ box........but I doubt they will.

Well from about next month, he will be able to go to the new BBC freesat service with 80 channels, including HD channels and a PVR just like Sky+ for absolutely free (just the one off cost for the equipment).

So Sky should treat loyal long term customers better or lose them.

sorry for dragging up this thread lads, but I refered a friend on the 31st March and still havnt recieved my free Sky+ box voucher or anything..

I think you have to wait for the person you recommended to be signed up for 28 days, but since its a good bit over that now i'm gettin worried!

how long did ya'll have to wait to get the voucher? I'm the existing subscriber by the way
