Another air frost last night, down to -2.5C and like Paddy my fourth this month.

Nice enough day here, clouded over in the afternoon though with a few spots of rain on the way home. A high of 10.8C earlier, now down to 6.1C.

Cloudy, dry, windy and mild :). 8.5°C. I see on the radar there is rain in Donegal Bay ready to head down here. I hope it stays where it is. I am sick of looking at wet pavements and roads.

    1020.7 mb falling quickly.

    Hey everyone,

Dam, the weather has been bad at home.

Here in Perth Australia and the evening temp is 33C and a very light sea breeze.

    Heading home tonight...

Long flight ahead with 2 young kids.

    Cheers

Significant hail here, for the last 10 minutes, hailstones are really really tiny though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,246 ✭✭✭rc28

Heavy hail and rain shower here too. Small hailstones but a vicious shower none the less.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,464 ✭✭✭arctictree

Just had a mad shower there. Rain, Hail and Sleet. Temp dropped from 9c to 3.7c in about 8 minutes.

Wind has gone just East of North here and there seems to be some fairly big clouds over the sea. Could be something interesting here soon.
Temp is 7.9C dp -0.6C atm but it was falling very fast in the breif showers earlier.

Yep, just lookingt at the radar sequence and showers definitely seem to be moving SE with some over the Irish sea, could be interesting tonight.

I can see this shower just to my NE moving ever closer, i think it will just miss here though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,033 ✭✭✭Snowbie

Looks like the heavier part of this shower is staying just off the coast here, the side of it is crossing over me now with just some spots of rain, however it does have a ssw movement in it so trogdor and Mothman might get the heavier part of the shower as it moves onshore.

    7.4c dp -1c
    wind N-NNE

Indeed it could especially inland and on the higher ground...I wonder which 2 prolific posters here fall into that category.

The dp is certainly in your favour up there too.

One look at the DP at M2 tells me not to get excited.

That shower off the coast of Snowbie brushed the coast here, raising the DP from -2C to +2C without actually giving any precipitation.
    Currently 5.5C DP -0.6C,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,033 ✭✭✭Snowbie

All precip has died out over the N Irish sea.
    5.7c
    Dp -0.1c
    RH 66%
    1002.7mb rising
    Wind N-NNW now
Broken cumulus drifting in off the sea and parallel to the coast.
    2 miles west it's clear.
