Haven't had a look around this thread in a while and thus do not know if this has been posted before, but I've just heard something interesting on the radio:

    "I want candy..."

This site has some retro sweets such as Fruit Salads, Golf Balls, Rainblo, Flying Saucers and Edible paper, and yes, they deliver :D

I also found http://www.pennyjellies.com :pac: Remember Telex bars?????

God i remember them - i used to love them, and these yokes that where dark chocolate pyramid shaped things, filled with mint cream. I was addicted!! I cant recall the name, but i will look!

Anyone remeber the lollypops that were cola / fizzy flavoured and they had a number printed on the inside and if you got a 7, you got a free one?

I've never been able to find Penny Peaches.

They are a peach/orange coloured foam (but not Marshmallow)
like sweet with a surgery like coating on them. I adored them.
I know there are Jelly peaches but cant
    find the foam based ones.

    Like these only in Peach!

You probably found them already but theres an irish website that shall remain nameless that sells them. The sweets are called coeur fizz. Im sure u could ask just for the peach ones!

Anyone remember those Superman chewing gums which came with a little water transfer tattoo? They were lovely.

Toffee mice were beautiful also although the rock hard toffee would pull out your fillings. The chocolate mice with the red or green fondant filling were gross though.

Funny you should mention it, I was actually looking on the net last week to see if I could track some down too. It seems there are a lot in our predicament! I actually found a facebook page from a sweets shop that said they might be getting some in at the end of 2010, but I am not sure they ever did.

I remember even back in the day, supplies at my local shop were somewhat erratic. It was a good day when I saw they had Northumerland Fudge in - they never seemed to order enough of it cos it was always sold out straight away.

Probably (And to you non-learned people here, I am not exaggerating), the best chocolate I ever tasted!

    For deffo!

It's so hard to describe to someone who's never had it. So crumbly and sweet.

    Hi
    Just found this! Great stuff:)
Been trying to find a place to buy frescas (like liquor chocolates - chocolate fingers with sugar layer inside and liquid inside that). Some were orange flavoured - can't remember the other flavour.
Banjos were another thing - "Banjo, Banjo, Banjo it's brand new. Light and crispy wafer plus roast nut flavour, too."
There was another thing but for the life of me I can't remember much about them: Around the same time as Frescas - Delight maybe? Seem to remember a pink and blueish wrapper (not sure). Any ideas?
