Ask the owners very nicely or do the unthinkable and scale the wall when nobody's watching.

How do you get into Boland's Mill? I'm dying to take photos of it!

I have a key... but that would make things too easy so I thought we'd just shimmy over a wall. If you really wanna take pics pm me and we can sort something out... I'm gonna do it with or without people, but company's always preferred... at least if one of us crashed through a floor 200 ft up the other could retrieve any valuable pics and get them posted up... wouldn't want my (your) death to be in vain :D

Seriously, if anyone fancies it PM me.

It's been empty for a while now and I've always fancied paying a visit... not sure what the access opportunities are like but if some-one fancies a little look PM and we can organise something.

If anybody knows of any other urban religious sites around Greater Dublin let me know... got a particular interest in these places... there's a row of old dorms down on Sean Macdermott Street that look inviting too. Just to the right of this place...

That would ge great to see... stick it up on vimeo or youtube... I'd love to see it.

The explore with Hutman went great on Monday... the buildings a real good size, has several levels and is generally in pretty good condition... despite the obvious easy access and it being bounded on one side by housing, which gives young people plenty of opportunities to enjoy their nefarious activities  there were even several photographs documenting the construction of the new pump house next door, with some of the construction workers in them...

I shot on film so might be a hwhile before I post any pics but hutman got loads so hopefully he'll put more up...

i know this is a bit old but just thought id give ya a heads up ,theres always activity in there in the night time. although it looks decrepit, its still being used regularly.
I think it still belongs to the irish film board or something.

Ah okay.... that's good to know. I wouldn't want to surprise anyone... least of all myself :) Although, maybe the 'activity' is of a supernatural nature  :p

I'm going to be bumping this thread back from oblivion, but oh well!

Have anyone ever been to the abandoned fertelizer factory at Marino Point in county cork?
I am only staying here in Ireland for another week or so, and would very much like to visit this place before I have to leave, and grab some interesting photos.
For the time being I am living at the docks in Cobh. Please contact if you would like to join a visit to the point.

    Regards,
    Erik

Anyone fancy doing some Urbexing around Dublin let me know... I know a few sites currently accessible. The response on here is usually pretty pathetic but you never know... always worth throwing a line out now and again and seeing what bites.
