So, anyone get into any of the Beta's? I got an email today saying that i got into the technical beta, which takes place on Sunday March 2nd. I get to try out Capture the Flag or Annihilation PvP. Should be nice.

I didnt get anything Unfortunately when i applied i had to use my old pc spec as my new PC went on fire , again

Cant wait to play it though.

yeah got my mail this morning too.
Im testing beta on sunday. YAY! :D
I signed up for beta with 4x mail accounts and 4 different PC's.
Im already downloading it, so far its around 1GB and not even a quarter of it done.
Did you noticed that the link to part 12 is actually part 11 and i had to rename the link source to part 12 manually.

I cant wait.....

finally all downloaded and conan patcher fully completed.
Im ready to enjoy it.
Its only a technical beta, and its a once off 3 hours only on sunday.
Further betas like the proper game beta still has to be announced.

Actually not too bad, for those not choosen .
Real beta, we will still have to wait and see...

Have a nice weekend, i will, and it will be bloody and violent.

the real general beta has being going on for months now

although you wont hear much about it as even saying your in it will break there agreement..

Holy crap bags!! I'm installing it now, and it requires 21gigs. Thats a total of 33 gigs for the installer and game. This is getting out of hand i tells you.

Also, i'm guessing no-one else can log in yet right? Its just i'm getting a username/password failure, and i want to be sure its just cause it doesnt technically start till 6pm, rather then theres a problem with my account.

Ok, i;ve only been on for a little while, as there were some problems creating characters as first. So the graphics are very nice for an MMO. Some great animations as well, and i've been on the recieving end of quite a few decapatations. Combat is good, you basically click 1-5 for regular melee attacks. You need to focus on specific areas, which arent as well protected. Spell casting is...well, spell casting. Nothing new here.

I tried a Necromancer first, and will try a melee class now. Will post more later.

Well, i havent really said anything that wasnt shown in video's, or was in the description of the beta, so i dont think i'm breaking the NDA. Or at least i hope not...

I didnt even manage to log back in, so i only got about 1hr of play. Which for an 11gig download wasn't the best.

severe login problems and name changing bugs (2 and a bit hours of no gameplay) aside i finally got achance to test

oddly enough the game feels VERY "beta" - it needs a lot of work which i cant see getting done in the next two months considering they have had 2 years to do these things

I loved it, its real nice.
Server was real bad for 2 hours - unplayable, but got extended 2h of test.
They sorted it fast enough considering its beta.

Guys, when did you email to get this Beta. I only applied about 2 weeks ago.

invisable walls linear paths small zones packed with mobs in places that dont make sense havent actualy read any good info about it from testers anyway

I think i'll pre-order this as well. Some nice rewards for getting a pre-order as well, such as a War Mammoth or a Killer Rhino. Also, the collectors edition comes with an ingame ring that increases XP and a clock (The Drinking Cape) which gives you free drinks in any tavern in the game

im warning ppl in advance who are pre-ordering (i will be pre-ordering too ) - ive been in general beta for a month now and all i can tell is either:

1. It'll get delayed again - (maybe another month to iron out the bugs/memory leaks)
2. It will be a quite buggy on release and scare a lot of gamers off

the current build i am playing since April 16th weighs in at 40gb on my hard drive too :P

yep thats almost all fixed but was a huge issue a week or two ago - you couldnt get past the first few quests without logging in and out over and over again - (10gb's of patches fixed it ^^ ) my main worry at the mo is the games engine is horrendously optimised i have 4gbs ram, 8800 gtx and a dual core e6850 running on vista x64 and it struggles to get above 12 fps in some of the towns

Wow, this does not bode well. Hopefully they'll sort it out. And 40gbs? ouch. I don't think I'll have enough space

From what I've seen and heard of it lately, its improved ALOT. File size has dropped to some 30ish gbs afaik. I'm definitely considering pre-ordering it anyways

FYI, Fileplanet are giving away keys to the open beta that starts on May 1st. They're giving away the keys in small batches, and quite randomly. You also have to be a member of filplanet. They are currently giving away keys right now, if you sign up. Not sure how long it'll last.

The download is a bit of a bummer though. The links are going down constantly as a result of too many downloads. And the download itself is 12gig which installs to about 25 gig, so make sure your hard disk is clear!

Well they gave me a key and are letting me download. I think the US part is for something else. There's a "levelling competition", and I think that's what's only open for the US users.
