This subcategory is for items of a technical nature. It is not for forum requests, dispute resolution, feedback, or help.

Before submitting a bug report, please take the following steps to attempt to resolve it:
Should that not work, please include as much information as possible, including but not necessarily limited to:
    • The URL of the page you were on when the error occurred
    • Steps to reproduce the process
    • Screenshots
    • What you expected to happen
    • What actually happened
    • The results of the Diagnostics page (http://www.boards.ie/diagnostics.php) - please delete the IP address line
    • Whether you are using the Legacy or Responsive site
    • Whether you are based in Ireland or overseas
    • Whether you are in an office / operating behind a proxy/firewall

This forum uses Prefixes, which help organise the forum. If you would like to suggest a new feature for Boards.ie, please prefix your thread with Feature Suggestion. These are always appreciated, though you may not get a reason as to why yours has not been implemented; sometimes it's just not practical to do so. If you notice a technical problem with Boards.ie, please mark your thread Bug Report.

Sometimes your thread's prefix, and possibly even its title, will be changed by a moderator. If this happens it is generally to facilitate tracking of the issue, or categorisation of the project.
