    Forums Online!

In line with the server changes and upgrade you may have noticed we have enabled our own forums on the http://irishairsoft.ie website - Click Here

Due to the nature of the work the committee do it is hard to post all the news in a news bulletin here and other places so with the forum we can keep you up to date with every minute of our projects and the progress we make. This forum will be buzzing with info and constantly updated as the questions arise. We will also have dedicated affiliate feedback sections so that you all get heard. Your normal login for the site will work for the forum so there is no need to re-register

The main reason is to centralise everything and prevent a million posts here on every update.

    Have Fun
    Conor Scolard

    Let me guess, Yahoo Mail?

Or, are you a registered member of the Actual IAA, not the site?

    Bingo, Yahoo.
Well I sent away my application to the IAA almost a week ago. Does that mean I'm registered or will I get some kind of confirmation?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭N.O.I.P.

There will be a confirmation sent out to you as soon as possible.

That's what you get for using a crap email service that can't tell the difference between legitimate mail and spam. :p

    Go gmail!

    Bah, yahoo mail.

Can the account Motosam be deleted on the IAA site?

    I'll re-register with my g-mail.

Also, who would know if my IAA membership application arrived yet, I sent it awhile back, and am worried it was lost or some other an post related disaster.

However, as has been stated a number of times, we require the physical original.

    Legal reasons (signatures mainly).

Dar should be there tomorow, he'll sort you out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 763 ✭✭✭Dar

I'll definitely be at HRTA tomorrow and can accept your subscription then.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,287 ✭✭✭kevteljeur

I'd like to sign up tomorrow too, if this isn't too off-topic. What time are you there? And do I need to print out stuff tonight, or will you have some forms?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 763 ✭✭✭Dar

No prob kev. We have forms at HRTA but they are the old ones. Mental note: print out more forms next week :). If you could download an application form off www.irishairsoft.ie, fill it out and give it to me tomorrow that would be great. We'll also need photocopy of some form of valid government ID before we can process your application. If you can't get that for tomorrow I can just get the form off you and you can either give me the photocopy the next time you're down or send it by post.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 763 ✭✭✭Dar

Quick reminder: The official association paypal account is treasurer@irishairsoft.ie for those of you who want to pay your subscription online. Please include your full name when paying online so we can match the payment with your application form.

    From http://irishairsoft.ie

"The IAA have been invited to speak on East Coast FM on Wednesday March 5th @ 09:30 in relation to the opening of GoTactical Ltd in the Bray/Fassaroe Area. Local T.D Liz McManus will be on air discussing the matter. The acting chair Ronan Lowe will be representing the IAA and the Sport of Airsoft as a whole.

I would ask that the community remain a single entity on this and show reserve and control in the face of possible incorrect assumptions and information which Ronan will set straight.

If you have anything you would like us to convey or have a point that should be raised i would ask that you post it here on the IAA forums

    Regards,
    Conor Scolard"

Wish we could sell tickets for this radio show. It's not often you get to see politicians publicly humiliated and humbled by cold hard facts.

Ronan's gonna kick ass, although unfortunately only figuratively since he's not marshalling.

Is it just ronan and liz or will there be "representitives" of local business, community groups and gardai etc

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,052 ✭✭✭Dr_Pepper

I'm afraid that the only details which were given to us was that we were responding to Liz being "On Air" in order to give our side.
There very well may be more people involved i.e. Go Tactical.
